NKK Switches has announced the GB Series of ultra-subminiature pushbutton switches with illuminated plungers. The series’ clear polyamide plunger is designed to produce a high visibility of status indication and is available with red, green or amber LED illumination. Featuring a sealed body construction to prevent contact contamination, the switches also allow for time- and money-saving automated soldering and cleaning. The insert-molded terminals lock out flux, solvents and other contaminants, guaranteeing a mechanical and electrical life of 50,000 operations minimum.

The Series 84 ‘halo illumination’ pushbuttons from EAO Switch provides high-visibility glow that attracts attention to a primary function - for example, an on/off switch.
