Goodfellow has introduced a range of MACOR material (rods, plates, bars and discs) and finished components that are precision-machined to customer specifications. The machinable engineering material is said to deliver the performance of a technical ceramic with the versatility of a high-performance plastic.

Ceramic materials for scientific community
Almost three dozen ceramic materials in many forms are available for researchers and engineers from Goodfellow. Available in small quantities (one piece to small production runs), these ceramics offer a wide range of chemical resistance as well as physical, electrical, thermal and mechanical properties to meet the needs of the scientific community. The company is also able to offer an extensive selection of ceramic components and specialist glass for scientific and industrial applications through its acquisition of the UK-based Technical Glass Company.
