 Coto Technology has announced the RI-90 Series changeover dry reed switch. With an initial contact resistance of 140 mohms (max), the switch is suitable for high-reliability applications in automatic test equipment, security, industrial and consumer applications. The series, with a 15 mm max glass length, is a SPDT type, having three contacts: a common contact, an NO contact and a NC contact.
When brought in the proximity of a magnetic field, the common contact will first open with the NC contact, and then make contact with the NO contact as long as the magnetic field is applied.
