 MTS Systems Corp., Sensors Division has expanded its line of R-Series linear position sensors with the Temposonics model RF sensor that includes all the outputs, including EtherCAT and SSI, and other enhanced features of the R-Series but is housed in Teflon coated stainless steel that can be bent to an 8-in. minimum radius and allows for up to 15 to 20 position magnets to be used along a single sensor.
The RF now accommodates strokes up to 10 m, with a measuring range of 255 to 10,060 mm.
