 MicroMo Electronics has expanded its brushless dc motor product line with the addition of its Series 2057…B. With an external motor-diameter of 20 mm and a length of 57 mm, the motor uses the “System Faulhaber” skewed winding in combination with a rotor made of Neodymium rare-earth magnets to provide cog-free motion. The motor can achieve a continuous output torque up to 18 mNm at speeds up to 58,000 rpm.
A sterilizable version capable of withstanding an autoclave environment is available.
