AIR CONTROL VALVE FOR EXTREME ENVIRONMENTS |

 The Pneumatic Division of Parker Hannifin has introduced a IP65-rated industrial in-line valve series specifically designed for use in operating conditions of -40° to 70°C, with a maximum pressure of 16 bar.
Traditional solenoid valves typically use either an O-ring or lip seals between the valve spool and body. The Viking Xtreme’s aluminum spool, with a specially engineered over-molded rubber, is said to eliminate the problems of seals deforming or extruding under conditions of high pressure or flow.
The Viking Xtreme is available in three versions – solenoid operated, remote air pilot, and manually actuated. A choice of 1/8, 1/4, 3/8 and ˝ in. port sizes is available.
