 The Bosch Rexroth CMS online selection program for Multiple Axis Cartesian Motion Systems allows users to configure a plug-and-play Cartesian motion system with a few mouse-clicks. The program offers 17 different variants for 1-, 2- or 3-axis motion systems with different stroke lengths. In addition, Rexroth generates 2D or 3D dimension drawings for the selected motion systems that can be used on all common CAD platforms. The online selection program for CMS allows configuration of complete handling solutions, including the linear guides, motor and controller, using clearly defined data.
All selection steps are supported by graphic illustrations and animations. Once the number of axes and the motion type has been entered, the user specifies the stroke lengths and the maximum payload. Using this data, the online program calculates the appropriate linear motion axes and delivers the results as a configuration, stating the associated positioning times.
