ALLEN BRADLEY NATIVE TAGS SUPPORT |

 Red Lion Controls, Inc. has announced native tag support of Allen Bradley's Logix series PLCs. Red Lion G3 series HMI, Modular Controller and Data Station products can be integrated with the ControlLogix and CompactLogix PLCs, via serial or Ethernet. The PLC's tags are exported as a CSV file from Allen Bradley's RSLogix 5000 software, and then imported into Red Lion's Crimson 2.0 software. A click of a button automatically creates matching tags within Crimson.
A tool is also provided which allows PLC tags to be generated within Crimson, thus avoiding the import process for the addition of subsequent PLC tags.
