 Meeting the American Petroleum Institute’s standard API 610, 10th edition, KSB’s RPH line of heavy-duty industrial pumps is suitable for refinery and petrochemical applications. The centrifugal overhung single-stage pumps feature extra-large diameter drive shafts and bearings that help ensure long, trouble-free service lives. When maintenance is required, the back pull-out design means that the impeller, drive shaft, seal chamber and bearings can be removed for service as a unit – without having to disturb the main body of the pump or any of the piping connected to it.
RPH pumps are available in over 60 sizes, with outlet diameters ranging
from 25 mm to 400 mm and flow rates up to 4,800 m3/h. Maximum heads
range from 12 to 285 m. If heat is an issue, cooling fins on the
bearing housing, plus an optional fan mounted on the drive shaft help
keep the pumps running smoothly with fluid temperatures as high as
400°C.
