 Featuring enclosed designs in both the motor and compressor sections, TASKAIR E series articulating piston units from Thomas are built to deliver long, service-free life while standing up to wet and dirty conditions. Applications include air suspension systems, air brakes, mobile and central tire inflation systems, and general mobile air source.
TA-E series compressors provide up to 150 psi of pressure. Maximum flow
is rated at 3.35 CFM. The E series compressor section is an oil-less
design with dual cast iron cylinders, stainless steel valves and PTFE
piston rings and skirts. Motor and compressor bearings are permanently
lubricated and sealed. The permanent magnet dc motor is totally
enclosed fan cooled and industrially rated. Both 12 and 24 Vdc versions
are available.
Because of its efficient design, the compressor is said to achieve high performance while operating at 1800 rpm.
