 Teledyne Relays introduced the 80 x 22.4 x 21.4 mm series X75 commercial ac solid-state relay, which is roughly half the size of an industry-standard hockey-puck package. The relays complement previously released 16 A and 12 A touchproof spring terminal models, and offer output to 75 A 660 Vac in a package that weighs 90 g. The allows connection of multiple relays using a bus bar to create multi-output solutions.
Units are designed for most loads and are capable of handling loads with high inrush current, such as infrared lamps. Back-to-back thyristors on output are also said to provide long life. The relays deliver up to 1600 V blocking voltage.
