Strainsert makes CAD drawings available to engineers via website
Written by Mike Edwards June 25, 2009
Strainsert Company, a designer and manufacturer of standard and custom force transducers, has launched an online catalog from ThomasNet that gives its engineering customers the ability to download and insert CAD drawings directly into their own designs and projects.
Strainsert's thousands of products - from force sensing load pins,
load cells, force sensing bolts and studs, to signal conditioning
amplifiers and tension links - are used worldwide in aerospace,
military, marine and automotive applications. The new CAD functionality
offered through its website is compatible with almost all CAD operating
systems and software.
"This new online catalog positions us leaps and bounds ahead in customer support," said Tim Foley, president, Strainsert. "Not only does it help us to work more efficiently, but this provides a platform for our customers to work more efficiently as well."
In addition to the CAD capabilities, Strainsert's new online catalog offers multiple calls to action for visitors, including request for quotes and ways to receive more information.
