Hyduke Energy Services Inc. is pleased to announce that is has recently been awarded a contract to provide two turn-key 1000HP AC electric drilling rig packages for a South American based customer. The contract, valued at approximately $32,200,000 will be completed over the next nine months.
Gordon McCormack, President and Chief Executive Officer, commented, “This is an excellent contract win for Hyduke. This contract win is a direct result of consistent business development investment in South America over the past three years and reflects the longer lead times involved in developing relationships to the point where major projects are awarded. We remain committed to diversifying our markets outside of North America as it is a very sound strategy to reduce reliance on the North American natural gas driven environment.”
