CSA appoints new President and CEO

The Board of Directors of CSA Group officially announced the appointment of Ash Sahi to the position of President and Chief Executive Officer of Canadian Standards Association (CSA Group), a global provider of standards solutions, testing and certification services and consumer product evaluations.


Mr. Sahi succeeds CSA Group President and CEO, Robert M. Griffin, who will retire from CSA Group after 11 years of outstanding service to the organization.

As President and CEO, Mr. Sahi will be responsible for providing leadership and direction for the global company with offices, testing laboratories and affiliates in more than 60 countries worldwide. CSA Group employs more than 1,400 people serving approximately 35,000 customers, and has over 9,000 volunteer members that serve on various committees for standards development. CSA Group’s vision is for a better, safer, more sustainable world where standards work for people and business.
