NKK Switches has introduced the SMARTSWITCH development kit, a tool for rapidly prototyping design ideas. The development kits are offered in three variations. The first consists of one SMARTSWITCH programmable LCD display module and two PCB mounted tact switches for engineers to select and display different graphics (IS-Dev Kit-1).
The second comes with two SMARTSWITCH LCD programmable pushbutton
switches (IS-Dev Kit-2). Both of these kits come on a PC board with
flash memory, power and programming connections. The third kit is a
panel display unit that includes two SMARTSWITCH LCD pushbuttons and
one SMARTSWITCH LCD display (IS-Dev Kit-3).
