IDEC Corp. has introduced the RJ and RQ series to its General Purpose relay line. Operational life is 200k cycles at full ac resistive load for the RJ relay. Both the RJ and RQ series have contact ratings of 12 A, 1 Form C (SPDT) and 8 A, 2 Form C (DPDT).
In addition, the RQ series has a high-capacity 16 A, 1 Form C (SPDT)
model available. With a profile of 15.5 mm total DIN width, using an RJ
relay and SJ socket is said to reduce required DIN width mounting by
30% when compared to standard 2-pole relays. The RQ PCB relay provides
3.5 and 5 mm pin terminal separation, and is 15.6 x 12.6 x and 29.0 mm.
