Scientific Technologies, Inc. has introduced the Metal Body T4016 Series safety interlock switch designed for a minimum of two million actuations. Units are available in a variety of 4 contact pole versions that provide
2 poles for dual channel safety monitoring, with 2 additional poles for
status monitoring.
A narrow profile of allows the T4016 to be mounted
on 2-in. square tubing, or in applications with space restrictions.
The rotatable head provides eight possible actuator positions for versatile installation. The NEMA 6, all-metal housing and stainless steel actuator allows the switch to be used in many applications while withstanding water washdown cleaning.
The T4016 conforms to all appropriate European safety standards and is UL, cUL and CE listed. An optional heavy-duty slide bolt provides an integral door handle and includes an actuator. The slotted hole in the slide bolt permits the attachment of multiple padlocks.
