The MIST series, microprocessor based auto-calibrating patent pending temperature sensors, offered by Intempco Controls Ltd., combine the sensing element, electronics and extension cable in a single construction.
The electronics are hermetically sealed in stainless steel housing,
terminated at the end of the probe. The series is said to combine the
stability and accuracy of an RTD element with the benefits of an
integral 4 to 20 mA transmitter. Units come factory calibrated to
customer specified temperature range.
