SUBMERSIBLE PRESSURE TRANSDUCER

Setra Systems, Inc. has introduced the model 595 digitally compensated submersible pressure transducer. The model's integral specific gravity compensation makes the unit suitable for groundwater monitoring, sewer flow monitoring, storm water studies, stream flow monitoring, infiltration/inflow studies, pump tests, irrigation, flood warning, sea level, tide and wave monitoring applications.

The unit has 318 stainless steel wetted parts and a hermetic header. The sensor is resistant to the effects of humidity, which can cause condensation. The model 595 is offered with choice of 2-wire/4 to 20 mA (for use with non communication data recorders), SDI-12 w/4 to 20 mA, RS485, or SDI-12 output. Offered in gauge pressure ranges from 5 to 40 mWG, the sensor has a total error band of <√Ǭ±0.1% over the compensated temperature range of -5° to 45°C, and an operating temperature of-25° to 70°C. The 318SS enclosure is rated IP68 to 200 mWG.
