The SE1 linear cable-extension transducer from Celesco is suitable for linear measurements in OEM and testing applications where an encoder based signal is preferred. Available in either 25 or 50 in. ranges, the unit comes with a 12 in. electrical cable with Molex style connector.
The device has been designed for cable misalignment, ensuring long
cable life even if installation is not perfect. The "free-release"
tolerant cable design allows the cable to be freely released inhibiting
damage to the transducer during quick retractions.
The Polycarbonate enclosure that is capable of withstanding chemical media and moderate physical impacts. The encoder is 0.5 in. thick with a diameter 0.75 in., and has a 2-channel quadrature TTL square-wave output signal and 56 ppi resolution.
