SICK launches WL27-3 Reflex Array photoelectric sensor

SICK – a manufacturer of sensors, safety systems, machine vision, and automatic identification products for factory and logistics automation – announced the launch of the WL27-3 Reflex Array photoelectric sensor.

The WL27-3 will be “for reliable leading edge detection of irregular shaped objects,” said SICK. It detects any object 12mm or larger in size with the Reflex Array 50mm detection height “regardless of object properties or position within the array – including clear materials.” Therefore this product can detect irregular shapes, pallets and multi-heights of any object.
