Models PAC-30U and PDC-30 capacitance-style proximity switches from Monitor Technologies are used to detect the presence or absence of many bulk solids. The PAC-30U is an ac-operated unit that is a universal, switch selectable for either normally open or normally closed operation. The PDC-30 is a dc-operated unit and is available in either PNP or NPN configurations, each of which can be wired in a normally open or normally closed operation mode.
Each model is provided with a thermoplastic polymer enclosure with an IP67 rating, adjustable sensing distances from 4 to 25 mm.
