For single and three phase systems, the Valvetrab provides main and branch circuit overvoltage protection from electrical transients caused by lightning, utility switching actions, de-energized inductive loads and heavy switching operations.
It provides up to 40 kA 8/20 µs maximum surge protection for the service entrance, MCCs, variable frequency drives, softstarts and other electrical equipment. Features include: a 40 mm MOV with thermal disconnect for failure indication; DIN-rail mount foot; and, pluggable protection module.
