Multi-angle vision sensor

Omron Canada has announced the F250 four-camera machine vision sensor for multi-angle applications. Real-time rotation position compensation searches for parts or features located at random angles and positions, while maintaining production speeds of up to 6000 parts/min.
With the unit’s Edge Code Technology, positioning can be done even with poor image quality, and defect inspection can detect fine scratches, dirt and deformities. The Omron Quest OCR and Verification algorithm is said to enhance the detection of printed alphanumeric characters regardless of their shape or size. The vision sensor features a built-in Ethernet port.
