METAL FACED SENSING TECHNOLOGY

HTM electronics has announced metal faced sensing technology. The inductive proximity sensors are 8 mm in diameter, and have a 3 mm sensing distance. The body is machined from one piece of stainless steel, including the sensing face, making the product suitable for rugged applications.

The stainless steel body, sensing face and mounting hardware have been coated with PTFE, for resistance to weld spatter. Uncoated stainless steel versions are suitable for food applications.

The sensors operate from 10 to 30 Vdc and can be supplied in NPN or PNP models. M12 quick connect or M8 quick connect are available. The 4-view LED output indicator can be seen from a distance.
