The IFRH series of inductive high temperature sensors from Baumer Electric have been designed for operating temperatures ranging from -25° to 180 C. The two part proximity switches intended for flush front face installation are available in M8, M12 and M18 designs with chromium nickel steel housings. The M8 sensor has an overall length of a 30 mm. Depending on the housing size, the nominal switching distance ranges from 1 to 5 mm.
An FEP jacketed cable allows the processing electronics to be separated from the actual sensor head. The operating voltage range lies between 10 to 30 Vdc, while the protection class is IP67.
