INDUCTIVE PROXIMITY SENSOR RESISTS WELD SPLATTER

Inductive proximity sensors from HTM electronics have a body completely machined from stainless steel, including the sensing face. To ensure that material does not adhere to the sensor, including weld splatter, the stainless steel body and mounting hardware have been coated with PTFE material.

The 8 mm diameter sensors have an extended range of 2 mm. The 12 mm diameter sensor has a 4 mm sensing range. The sensors operate from 10 to 30 Vdc and can be supplied in NPN, PNP or DC 2-wire models. Units come with a high intensity LED output indicator light.
