Heraeus Sensor Technology Brazil has introduced two miniature ceramic wirewound Platinum temperature sensors with footprints said to be smaller than any other wirewound element currently available. Ceramic wirewound Platinum sensors are typically used in applications requiring a wide operating temperature range and high measurement stability. Types KN1008 and KN3005, with diameters of 0.8 and 0.5 mm, results in response times of <0.2 s.
The elements are supplied in accordance with the IEC 60751 specification.
