Commercial grade Kapton insulated heaters from Minco Products, Inc. are said to provide the benefits of a thin, etched foil element at a lower cost. The heaters are less than 0.010 in. thick and can be formed to a 0.030 in. radius.
Size options ranging from 0.5 x 2.0 in. to 5.0 x 5.0 in. are designed for uniform power output at 12 or 24 Vdc. Solder pad terminals are standard, with factory installed PTFE insulated leadwires optional. All models include PSA film mounting adhesive for operation to 100°C.
