Bussmann Transportation Products, a division of Cooper Industries, has announced a new series of vehicle style electrical protection devices for use in the transportation industry, including transorbs, resistors and diodes. Designed with bladed terminals, the devices are said to be easy to install into power distribution modules such as the Cooper Bussmann Vehicle Electrical Center (VEC) and Rear Terminal Mini Fuse & Relay Module (RTMR).
Features of the Series 229 include an operating temperature range of -40° to 125°C and voltage rating of 12 or 24 Vdc.
