The Class II EyeCON digital imaging laser line sensor from LMI Technologies (USA), Inc. is said to process more data and outperforms single point sensors as well as other scanning systems.
The Ethernet-Ready UDP protocol sensor's "extremely high resolution"
three dimensional cross sectional profile scans up to 150 points across
a horizontal measuring line for on-the-spot measurement of materials
and equipment. This is said to be similar to having 150 single point
sensors in one package.
