The LK-G series laser displacement sensors from Keyence provide non-contact measurement with a resolution of 0.0004 Mil (0.01 µm), an accuracy of ±0.03%, and 50 kHz sampling speed.
The series has a range of over 7 in. and uses a dedicated Li-CCD
(Linearized CCD) developed by Keyence to output the position of light
within a pixel to achieve accuracy that is said to be 2x higher than
conventional models. Additionally, the proprietary LK-G design is also
said to achieve a speed that is 25x faster with a sensitivity that is
ten times higher than conventional systems.
