DPN WEB EXCLUSIVE: Banner Engineering has announced PresencePLUS P4 GEO vision sensors. The units are said to easily inspect for correct features regardless of product orientation or position in the sensor√ɬ≠s field of view. The 360° inspection capability of the sensors is complemented with a remote Teach feature.
A built-in live video image output allows users to view the sensorís
inspections in real time and to also view failed inspection images
without the use of a PC. The vision sensor has built-in 10/100
Ethernet, RS-232 and discrete input/output connections available. Units
can inspect up to 6000 parts/min with typical inspections averaging
1500 ppm.
