TIMING BELT TECHNOLOGY HAS 15 MM TOOTH PITCH

BRECOflex CO., L.L.C., has introduced "ARC-POWER 15" timing belts and pulleys. The technology offers increased tooth shear strength and increased tensile strength over previous versions.
The higher steel content (approximately 30%) combined with the
increased tooth width (5 mm) is said to lead to the desired stiffer
belt construction required for high accuracy at heavy duty linear
drives and power transmission applications. In addition, compared to
the conventional AT 20 belt version, "ARC-POWER 15" is offering its
distinctive advantages of the "circular tooth technology" and the high
level of tensile strength is identical.
Other advantages: continuous tooth engagement; reduced vibration; reduced noise level; and, smooth interaction with idler and tensioners.
