LM76 has introduced plain bearings that feature PTFE polymers, ceramic, and specialty composites for linear and rotary applications. They are chemically resistant and are FDA/USDA compliant. The bearings can be washed down with water, high pressure steam and disinfectants. Products include: “Washdown Rated” self lubricating PTFE bearings in 304 stainless steel shells in diameters from ¼ to 1.5 in. The FluidLine Linear Motion bearings, are self lubricating, low friction plain bearings that are designed for applications requiring FDA/USDA and 3A compliance.
