Joyce machine screw jacks from Trans-Quip are said to lift and precisely position loads from 10 kN to 100 kN. Upright or inverted, the jacks operate at full capacity whether the load is in tension or compression. MWJ series jacks are self locking under full lifting capacity.
Heat treated alloy steel worm shafts, aluminum/bronze worm gears and tapered roller or ball bearings provide rugged reliability. Joyce jacks come in translating screw (shown), and keyed designs. All jack designs can be fitted with a protective boot. Joyce/Dayton can custom design jacks to meet special requirements.
