The Duff-Norton 1900 series rotary union was developed for high pressure applications up to 700 bar and with maximum temperature ratings up to 120°C. Standard models feature nickel treated carbon steel construction, but are also available in stainless steel.
The series is equipped with a double acting thrust bearing and bronze bushing. The bearing is said to permit higher pressures, while the bushing increases the guide of the shafts to allow faster than conventional rotating speeds obtained from most high-pressure models. Sizes range from 1/4 to 3 in.
