The V1 series of dust-resistant ball screws from NSK is designed with specially profiled screw shaft grooves and high performance seals that are said to reduce the rate of particle penetration to less than 1/15 that of conventional seals. The series also provides high speed operation at a maximum of 150,000 dN, surpassing the 135,000 dN maximum performance of conventional return-tube type ball screws.
Large lead ball screws allow high-speed operation of 150 m/min.
