The Zetasassi line of belt and chain tensioners from Quality Transmission Components are said to improve performance in industrial automation applications by keeping constant tension in belt and chain drive systems. The tensioners are designed to reduce noise, transmit torque more efficiently, decrease wear, with the added benefit of increasing the life of belts and chains.
With spring-loaded Econobelt tensioners, tension on the chain or belt can be adjusted. Units are also said to be easy to install and are maintenance-free.
