Ultra Motion has announced RO-Bug, a remotely operated linear actuator system that integrates a 12 or 24 Vdc servomotor with a 12 or 24 Vdc amplifier for RO (remotely operated) applications.
Each system is tuned and configured for a 1 to 2 ms pulse RC (radio
controlled) interface. The system integrates the company's Bug linear
actuator that is available in three stroke lengths of 2, 4 and 8 in.
with a Vantec amplifier. The servomotor is connected to a ball or Acme
lead screw that is driven by a Kevlar-T reinforced drive belt.
