Galil Motion Control has announced DMC-31x3 Flexible-Distributed controllers designed for machines requiring multi-axis controllers operating in a distributed network.
Said to lower the controller cost per axis, the Ethernet-based units
provide the ability to free the host computer from the task of motion
coordination, including linear and circular interpolation. The DMC-31x3
series can be specified for 1 to 8 axes and is not restricted to
single-axis motion controllers.
