Brush dc motor from Magmotor suitable for X-Y positioning systems, medical equipment, pharmaceutical equipment, machine tool spindles and centrifuge applications, has the ability to accelerate rapidly with limited impact to the system. It features internal brushes and Nd magnets. The 1.5 in. diameter design produces a continuous torque up to 25 oz in., and a peak torque up to 150 oz in.
A variety of electrical and mechanical options are available, including
windings for specific power requirements and custom mounting
configurations. The dual ended shaft is said to allow for quick and
easy optical encoder installation.
