Wago Ethernet 2.0 earns marine approvals

WAGO Corporation's ETHERNET 2.0 Control platform has received ABS-Type Approval as well as KR, GL and DNV Marine Certifications.
This brings ETHERNET 2.0 capabilities - dual-port, high-speed Ethernet networking, SD card data-logging and network redundancy - to demanding onshore/offshore, marine controls and shipbuilding applications worldwide. Approvals, such as DNV, are also required for wind energy systems and demanding process apps such as offshore oilrigs.

750-882 ETHERNET 2.0 MEDIA REDUNDANCY CONTROLLER:
Marine applications, such as wheelhouse and engine monitoring, require high network reliability and system availability. 750-882 meets these requirements by providing control via one redundant network or two independent networks. It features dual, independent ETHERNET ports; if Port 1/Path 1 fails (e.g., broken cable), Port 2/Path 2 resumes transmission.

750-881 ETHERNET 2.0 PROGRAMMABLE FIELDBUS CONTROLLER: The high-speed 750-881 processes 1000 instructions/235 microseconds with 1Mbyte memory for PLC programs/Web applications and integrated dual-port Ethernet Switch. Independent Ethernet ports respond in 1microsecond for rapid, real-time data transmission.

750-880 ETHERNET 2.0 PFC WITH SD CARD:
The 750-880 provides 1MB data memory and SD port for 8GB of extra memory. Via SD card, 750-880 expedites large-scale programming while increasing capabilities by transferring device parameters and files between controllers. The optional SD Card is fortified with gold-plating for harsh applications.

WAGO's 753 Series and high-density 16-Point I/O modules also join nearly 400+ ABS-, GL- and DNV-approved analog, digital and specialty WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM components. CAGE CLAMP(r) terminations are gas-tight, corrosion-resistant and maintenance-free.
