Endress+Hauser has introduced a new version of its PROline Prowirl vortex flowmeter. The measuring devices are suitable for most varied steam, gas and liquid applications, and are CSA IS or XP approved for Zone 0 to Zone 2 locations.
Vibrations up to 1 g, clogging fluids, pressure shock or even extreme fluctuations in temperature do not affect the measurement. For high-pressure applications, the sensors are equipped with secondary containment. Process temperatures from -200° to 400°C can be accommodated and interfaces to HART, Profibus-PA or FF are available in some versions.
