A wide range of plastic support structures and guides for various types of plastic belts, that can be configured into new and existing FDA/USDA compliant conveyor systems and process equipment, is available from Slideways, Inc. The Plastic Belt Supports are made from UHMW or HT-UHMW to create a low friction and high wear resistant surface that plastic modular belts can glide along.
Providing conveyor builders with non-metallic alternatives for
applications requiring frequent wash-down, modular conveyor supports
and guides can be made from several FDA/USDA compliant thermoplastics.
Available in a wide range of sizes, the supports can be designed to
work with plastic modular belts in sizes from 3.5 to 72 in. W and
multiple links or lanes, urethane round belts, flat belts, and others
types.
The UHMW or HT-UMHW supports can be integrated into new or existing floor supports and other types of conveyor or machinery structures.
