Heim Data Systems has introduced the DiSC6, a portable data acquisition unit. It is a flexible front-end system for online PC data acquisition, and may also operate as a recorder using optional tape, disk or solid state drives.
The adaptable architecture has user-configured integral signal
conditioning modules for multiple sensors, including ICP,
accelerometers, microphones, CAN bus, strain gages and artificial
heads. There are six signal module slots in the mainframe with an
optional extension to 12. The total system bandwidth is 640 kHz, with
channel bandwidth from 150 Hz through 200 kHz adjustable on a per
module basis.
