Absopulse Electronics’ HRW 40 is said to provide high reliability supply voltage for a wide range of critical applications. These include large industrial systems where fail safe logic supply voltage enables detection and systematic system shut-down, and in fan drives where voltage failure could lead to entire system failure.
The unit delivers 40 W at 12 or 24 Vdc. The input accepts from 85 to 264 Vac and 100 to 360 Vdc. Other input/output options as well as a redundant version are also available. MBTF exceeds 500,000 h at 45oC. The HRW 40 features full electronic protection and input/output filtering to meet EN55022 Class B EMI. It is designed to meet international safety approvals including IEC950 and related standards. The HRW 40 is convection cooled and rated over a 0oC to 50oC without de-rating. The unit’s open-frame design measures 3 x 5 in. with a maximum component height of 1.5 in. Options include ruggedizing and conformal coating for harsh environment applications and enclosure in a 3.4 x 6.1 x 1.9 in. vented chassis.
