An embedded Ethernet Web server in the Allen Bradley MicroLogix 1100 controller from Rockwell Automation lets users make adjustments to programs, including PID (proportional integral differential) loops, while still online.
An embedded EtherNet/IP communications port in the microcontroller also
enables users to share data across a production facility, while
eliminating the time and costs associated with network wiring. The
controller also includes a built-in, multipurpose text LCD display to
provide basic controller and I/O status information.
