Elma Bustronic releases 3U VPX Air Baffle Board

Elma Bustronic Corp. – a designer and manufacturer of backplanes – announced a new VPX air blocker board in the 3U height.
It is designed to fill in “unused slots and redirect (or contain) airflow,” says Elma. The air baffle is to help keep the air contained to aid cooling within the VPX systems and to reduce static pressure build-up. Custom panel and handle options are available.
Also available are accessories such as load boards, extender boards, RTMs and SerDes test devices.

Nine months later, "Roboy" was born and introduced to the world at Robots on Tour in Zurich, Switzerland, on March 8, 2013.
