Southco introduced the H3-EM electronic locking swinghandle, a latch that features an advanced electromechanical lock that typically provides advantages over mechanical and solenoid-driven locks.
Because the latch is gear motor-driven, it only requires power at the moment of actuation and can handle higher loads while using less than 200 milliamps of operating current. Southco’s new electronic latch also features integrated sensors and multiple signal outputs that send data for local and remote monitoring.
